An Address for Ukraine Evacuees
As you are aware the escalating conflict in the Ukraine is forcing an exodus of people from their country on a scale not seen in Europe since the end of the Second World War.
Latest reports advise that over 3 million people have fled the Ukraine and of these, in excess of some 100,000 will arrive into Ireland to seek refuge, mainly women and children.
The humanitarian effort to provide food and shelter to these people in our country is underway through the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. The department has appealed to The Address Connolly to join this effort and provide food and shelter as quickly as possible to thousands of people who have been forced to leave their homes and their loved ones.
With immediate effect The Address Connolly has agreed to join this effort and offer our Hotel exclusively to the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth for the foreseeable future.
While this was a difficult decision for our Hotel to make, we believe it is the right thing to do. We thank you for your understanding of the situation
In an unexpected and heart-warming development, many of our loyal customers and suppliers have requested to help this effort. We will be coordinating any assistance offered through the relevant channels who work with the Hotel and the Ukrainian Civilians who have been forced to leave their home. If you would like to register your support please complete the form below and send to us – we will be in touch to co-ordinate.
