Sum 41  is a well established rock band, founded in (1996).The band members consists of Jason Mc Caslin
known as the Bass player and Backing Vocalist . Tom Thacker known as the Touring member, guitarist 
Backing Vocalist and Keyboard player . Deryck Whibley known as the  Lead Vocalist , guitarist . 
Steve Jocz, known as the drummer and backing vocalist . 

Sum 41  sold millions across the world , their two hit singles "In too deep " and 
" fat lip " hit number one in the rock charts .
The two hit singles were in their album "All Killer no
filler "which successfully sold over two million copies . Although , Sum 41 may be perceived as a
band full of jokes and laughter , they still manage to incorporate essential messages within their
songs . 

In 2004 , Sum 21 alongside charity organisations went to Congo to document the Civil war in Congo.
Unfortunately , The hotel that Sum 41 and other civilians were occupying was endangered through 
conflict that occurred close to the hotel, This involved ammunitions that led to a "shoot out"
Thankfully , the lives of Sum 41 was saved by Chuck Pelletier. Mr Pelletier called for armoured 
carriers to take the civilians into safety . In honour of Chuck Pelletier , an album that was released
by Sum 21 on the 12th of October 2004 was named "Chuck" , Other songs consisted of the tragedies that
took place in Congo . 

As of recent times the last album by Sum 21 was released on March 29th 2024. The album almost 
incorporates the thoughts that they individually posses .
