Green Day will take to the stage in Marlay Park on 27 June 2024 as part of their Saviours world tour which celebrates 30 years of their 1994 album ‘Dookie’ and 20 years of 2004’s smash hit ‘American Idiot’.
The world famous band will be supported by the bands Nothing But Thieves and Maid Of Ace at their Dublin, with support acts like The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas opening for them on their North American leg.
Speaking about their upcoming global tour, Green Day said: “We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors , a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together. So, let’s thrash. We’ve got some amazing friends who are coming along for the ride!”
The American rock band played their first ever Irish show in December 1991 in Dublin venue The Attic with support from Dog Day, but have upgraded massively since then as they prepare to play Marlay Park.
